I happened to see the conversation between Seth and R.O. Blechman at the International Festival of Authors this year here in Toronto — very encouraging! During the afternoon talk, I had the audacity to doodle Mr. Blechman. Certainly not a true likenes, but here it is nonetheless.

Mom’s chair
Sue Ericsson’s Drawing Fundamentals class at Ryerson. It’s my mother’s old chair in our living room. I had sketched it rough, and then used the sketch as a reference for this shading exercise in the class.
