I Bought a Subway Sketch by Gabrielle Bell
On a whim I bid on one of Gabrielle Bell‘s Subway Sketches on Ebay, never thinking I would win it, but I did. And then I put it on the credit card. And then our cell phone bill payment bounced. No reason. I am such a huge fan of her work, I’m really grateful to…

Sunday morning
I am so grateful to sit in our tiny but lovely backyard for a moment in the mornings. We have a little firepit, a little patio area, a grassy area, a place for a tiny vegetable garden and a wonderful wildgarden. The cat will often come out with me and roll around on the warm…

Finally picked up Canada Post’s Graphic Novelists stamp series
Four great, world-renowned Canadian cartoonists finally get some recognition here at home from Canada Post. LOTR ‘Sweded’
As homeschoolers, we are also avid Lord of the Rings fans. I don’t know why. We must fall exactly into some demographic that robs us of any right to call ourselves in possession of any kind of free will – though, pathetic creatures that we are, we try. Still, it is with great delight I…
